There are times when I have to remember that although I’m the supervisor and ultimately responsible for the success or failure of a project, I also have to step back and trust my employees to do the jobs they were hired for.
Though I can not specify a particular incident, I had encountered a couple of such occasions where I couldn't help intervene. At those times, I have felt I made a serious mistake since not letting my staff learn how to solve the problem(s) themselves was not good for their self-development.
