Management Interview - Give an example of a tough decision you had to make

When making professional decisions, I like to keep in mind the good of the company before I consider personal feelings.

Several years ago we were working on an annual publication, but due to a series of traumatic events, we were left with people with considerably low or no experience and with the lower technical knowledge required by the job. I took the initiative to manage the situation and proceeded from there. Despite the lack of enough resources, zeal along with the necessary background, and quickly planned effort I could convey the energy to finish the work before the deadline. If I did not take that risk and make that decision we as the CBRT would lose our credibility before the public and other institutions.
